Salvaged fabric is transformed into small tableaus using hand-stitching, found objects and whimsies. My small art pieces bring together and repurpose everyday fragments that might otherwise be discarded.
These five artworks are from the Placemat Series: a floral/blue gingham placemat has found new life as the background for inspiration incorporating crazy-quilt stitches, buttons and small metal charms.
