Adina Scherer

As a photographer I’m interested in the way images speak to each other, how they form an inquiry in their relationship beyond the declaration of a single image. In a time when photographs inundate our reference of the world, that seem as natural around us as water to a fish, my photographs reflect an interruption, an internal dialogue, a reflection of memory into view.
My work deals with two tracks, one that references intimacy, humanity, the aesthetic sense of lush and personal beauty that reflects daily life; things we notice and take for granted in a split second that with time are like breathing, and photographs that play games with perception, weaving together images that stimulate the viewer to play and consider new points of view.
