After winning a spot in the Curate NYC 2011 Arts Exhibition with his photograph entitled In The Hall, Brian continued to work on his current project, Ghosting. Using technique of layering and multiple exposures, these images intimate the ascension of form, or transference of feeling through the use of motion and dominant colors. They are at times reminiscent of oil paintings and abstract in nature. The final image is only one aspect of the project. Ideally, each piece would be viewed alongside a frame-by-frame slide show of the subjects. Displaying the photographic process offers the viewer a glimpse at how the many, or in some cases, few images affect the end result. However, it is equally important that each piece retain its integrity as a stand-alone image.
Several of these works have been on display and sold at the Spacewomb Gallery NYC as well as various art fairs both domestic and international.
