​Calvin Lom

Calvin Lom is an old-school analog black and white photographer who has hundreds of thousands of negatives that document a changing New York, but these images are of prints that utilize digital image capture via the usage of a Leica Monochrome camera.
Unlike other B&W photography printed with inkjet printers with only three shades of black and color inks my Piezography system utilizes 7 shades of black for higher resolution and a broader range of tonality that resembles medium format and large format photography. The Piezography prints have an image size of 20 x 30 inches on 24 x 36 inches paper. ​
